We are alive in the depths of the ocean. The icebergs are watching as the grey shadows take positions in their blue sectors. Passive sonar hears movement. The rival nation is here as well. Do the men inside them have souls too? Do spirits fill their diesel engines. Does even our captain know? The electric light in the morning has been painful sometimes. Dreams about dry land. We are gray and stressed. Then the signal with bad news comes.
